Meet the Founder
Caroline Hammett is a trauma survivor, advocate and founder of The Unheard Voices Project CIC.
Her life has been shaped by experiences that many people struggle to speak about, including historic abuse, trauma, neurodiversity and the long process of rebuilding a sense of safety, identity and self-worth.
Rather than allowing those experiences to define or silence her, Caroline has turned them into a determination to create change.
She founded The Unheard Voices Project CIC to create the kind of space she knows can matter: somewhere people can share their stories without fear, shame or judgement, and where lived experience is recognised, respected and valued.
Through storytelling, photography, community projects, awareness work and creative initiatives, Caroline is committed to amplifying voices that have too often been overlooked and creating opportunities for people to feel seen, understood and connected.
Her mission is simple but powerful:
To make sure no one feels alone in their story — and that every person knows their voice matters.
